Which plan is right for me?
Choose Starter for one product, one team member and up to three years of history. Choose Growth for up to 30 products, 30 team members and five years of history. Both include the same analytics and integrations. The account owner counts toward the team allowance.
How do I choose a traffic level?
Pick the smallest band that covers both your monthly pageviews and active desktop installs across all your products. An active install is an app installation that sends a heartbeat during the month. If you only track a website, choose by pageviews; if you only track an app, choose by active installs.
Can I try Jelto for free?
Yes. Use your own product data to decide whether Jelto gives you useful answers. You get 14 days with one product and no credit card, for a website, desktop app, or both. Starting a trial does not create a paid subscription.
Can I use Jelto only for a website or desktop app?
Yes. Each product can contain a website, a desktop app, or both. Start with the one you need and add the other later. Your dashboard shows the reports available for what you connect.
Do I need paying customers to use Jelto?
No. Find out whether people discover your product, sign up, or keep using your app before you make your first sale. Payment connections are optional; add revenue reporting when you start selling.
How do I get started?
Create an account and product, then add the generated tracking tag to your website or install an SDK in your desktop app. The Installation page helps you check that data is arriving. Follow the setup guides for your platform.
Do I need to know how to code?
For basic website analytics, you usually just paste a tracking tag into your site’s header or custom-code settings. We have guides for WordPress, Webflow, Framer and Shopify storefronts. Your platform must allow custom scripts. Desktop SDKs and custom events need some development work.
Which desktop platforms are supported?
Jelto has SDKs for Swift, Electron, Tauri and .NET. Use Swift for macOS, or the Electron, Tauri and .NET guides for apps on Windows, macOS and Linux. The SDK setup guides list platform requirements.
Which payment providers can I connect?
Jelto has native connections for Stripe, Lemon Squeezy and Polar. You can send verified payments from Paddle or another provider through the Payments API. Connect your provider for payments and refunds, then set up checkout attribution to see website revenue by marketing channel. See the revenue setup guide.
Where am I losing potential customers?
Find the steps where visitors leave before signing up or paying. Track key actions as goals, then combine them with page visits in an ordered website funnel. The signup and checkout examples give you a starting point.
Can I see which Google searches bring visitors?
Yes. Find search queries and pages worth improving by connecting Google Search Console. Compare clicks, impressions and average position; Google’s reporting can be delayed. Search performance and revenue remain separate; Jelto does not assign revenue to individual keywords. Follow the Search Console guide.
Can I see AI bots and search crawlers?
Yes. Understand which bots reach your content and whether they are answering questions, indexing pages, or gathering training data. Explore activity by operator, page and category. Connect server tracking to capture requests from bots that do not run your website’s JavaScript. Visits from people following AI links appear separately from automated bot activity.
Can I bring my existing analytics history?
Keep supported daily history when switching from Plausible. Preview an export’s dates and coverage before importing, and choose where Jelto’s own collection begins to avoid overlap. Imports bring aggregate history; they do not recreate individual journeys or historical funnels. See the Plausible import guide.
Can I track multiple domains and subdomains?
Yes. Review your registered sites together under one product, with a tracking tag on each hostname. An optional helper preserves marketing channel information between those hosts. It does not share visitor cookies or merge sessions across domains. Read about cookies and domains.
How do website and app analytics work together?
A product can show website traffic alongside desktop adoption, retention and release performance. These are separate reports: Jelto does not identify which website visitor installed your app or attribute app installs to website marketing channels.
Does Jelto use cookies?
Website tracking is cookieless by default, and Jelto never stores or logs IP addresses. Cookie mode and attribution memory are optional choices with their own disclosure and consent requirements. See the collection options and Privacy Policy before choosing your setup.
Can I use Jelto data in my own tools?
Yes. Bring website analytics into your own reports, manage funnels, or send verified payments and crawler requests from your server using the APIs. Each key is limited to one product. The Website API guide includes working examples.
Can I invite my team?
Give colleagues access to the same reports so you can decide what to do next together. Growth supports up to 30 team members, including the owner. Invite Members for reports and settings, or Viewers for read-only reports. Starter is for one person. See team access and invitations.
Can I share reports or embed them on my site?
Yes. Publish a dashboard with the reports you choose, or embed a visitor badge, traffic chart, revenue card or activity widget. Revenue and goals are shared only when you explicitly include them. You can revoke a public link later. See the sharing guide.
Can I export my data, and how long is it kept?
Product owners can export data from Privacy & data settings. You choose retention from 30 days up to your plan’s maximum: three years on Starter or five on Growth. Data outside that window is removed through retention processing. Read about exports and data controls.
What happens if I go over my plan’s limits?
Jelto notifies you as you approach or pass your pageview or active-install allowance. Human traffic and app collection continue, with no automatic overage charges. If you stay above the limits, we’ll ask you to upgrade. AI and search crawler requests have a separate allowance.
What does the 100K AI bot allowance include?
Each plan includes 100,000 server-reported AI and search crawler requests per monthly bot period, shared across your products. Further collection stops unless you enable paid overages: $9 per additional million requests, rounded up. Overages require an active paid plan and use a separate monthly subscription, even with yearly billing. See crawler usage details.
What happens when my free trial ends?
If you haven’t subscribed after 14 days, collection stops and the dashboard becomes read-only. You have seven more days to subscribe or export your data. After that, your trial products and their analytics are deleted. Your account remains.
Can I cancel or request a refund?
You can cancel through account billing; your base plan stays active until the end of the paid period. You can request a no-questions refund within 14 days of your first charge. See the subscription and refund terms for details.
